Douglas Robichaud
College Planning Specialist
Douglas Robichaud was born and raised in Ashton, Maryland. He attended Towson University and graduated with a degree in Business & Mass Communications.
Doug worked in the banking industry as a loan originator for several years before relocating to San Diego, CA, where he began his career in college financial aid. After several years working internally for major federal student loan providers, he branched off to form his own very successful federal student loan consolidation company, College Loan Financial, Inc.
In 2007, he expanded his service portfolio and simultaneously started Clear Life Financial, Inc., a company dedicated to personal financial management, pre-college financial planning, and post college debt counseling. Doug discovered that enabling people to make sound financial decisions is his passion.
Doug later joined Summit College Funding, Inc., an innovative financial planning firm dedicated to advanced college planning. The firm’s goal is to help families navigate the admissions process, maximize financial aid, and fund higher education all while minimizing the effect on family budgets and retirement.
Doug has been a welcome addition to the team. He brings personal experience, study, theory, and real life application. He is valued for his excellent ability to communicate, educate, and create intelligent strategies for families.
Doug resides in Carlsbad with his wife Jennifer. They are both active in the community, have two dogs, and love to golf.
